Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of over 1500 sq km it is one of Vietnams treasures. Over 3000 islands rise up from the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, many of which are home to beautiful coral laden beaches and grottoes.

There are several options for you to choose from in the exploration of Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island National Park. Depending on your interest in the activities that are available and your time frame and budget, a Halong Bay excursion can be arranged to suit you. Jasmine Junk

this beautiful 4 star vessel was modeled on the design of the 1930's Indochine style and is our latest edition. She is designed with sophistication and utmost attention to the details of a traditional sailing boat. With fully equipped air conditioned rooms and a host of activities she is designed to make your stay a memorable one.

Whether you are dining in the restaurant or just relaxing on board, the Jasmine Junk is an enjoyable masterpiece. She is equipped with a fine dining restaurant & bar, an outdoor lounge, and a well trained crew to service your requirements.


Jasmine Junk - 2 days / 1 night

Day 1: You are picked up from your hotel at 8.00am and arrive at Halong Bay wharf at 11.45am where you will be met by our crew who escort you on board the Jasmine Junk and serve welcome drinks.

You then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch after which you check into your room and we begin cruising into Halong bay. We see the eerie karsts and there different formations sailing around the many beautiful islands including Dinh Huong, Ga Choi and Dog Island. We visit the amazing Sung Sot cave with its incredible grotto like features and then cruise over to Titop beach for sunbathing and swimming. (Optional Kayaking)

Enjoy a great sunset dinner, and spend a relaxing evening on board the Jasmine Junk maybe fishing and drinking Vietnamese wine.

Day 2: Enjoy the beauty of a Halong Bay sunrise and a morning view of the Bay's landscapes with a cup of tea or coffee and fresh fruits. Breakfast is served at 7.00am. From 7.30am we begin cruising the bay to visit Man's head Island, Tortoise Island and the Luon Cave. Continuing on our cruise through Bai Tu Long Bay passing Toad Island and Bai Tho mountain.

At 11.00am we begin to head back to Halong wharf enjoying the scenic route while we are served with lunch.

We arrive back at the wharf at 12 noon for our drive back to your hotel in Hanoi arriving at 4.30pm.

Jasmine Junk - 3 days / 2 nights


Kayaking is a popular option on this cruise.

Exploring the bay by kayak we paddle to places such as the Surprise Cave and to Luon Cave, which is a natural tunnel that passes through a mountain spur and leads to an exotic lagoon surrounded by mountains covered by dense jungle.


Day 1: You are picked up from your hotel at 8.00am and arrive at Halong Bay wharf at 11.45am, where you will be met by our crew who escort you on board the Jasmine Junk and serve welcome drinks.

You then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch after which you check into your room and we begin cruising into Halong bay. Dinner is served at 6.00pm and our evening spent overnight on board the Jasmine Junk.

Day 3: Rising from our sleep we enjoy our breakfast while taking in the serene surroundings of the bay. After breakfast which is served at 7.00am we begin cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay passing Teapot Island, Chopstiks Island and Bai Tho Mountain. (Optional kayaking)

At 11.00am we begin to head back to Halong wharf enjoying the scenic route while we are served with lunch. We arrive back at the wharf at 12 noon for our drive back to your hotel in Hanoi arriving at 4.30pm.

Paloma Junk

The Paloma is a brand new Chinese wooden junk crewed by a professional, loyal and dedicated team. Spread over 4 decks she has 16 en-suite fully equipped luxury cabins, a comfortable cosy bar, gourmet restaurant, outside dining area, sundeck and luxury spa.


Paloma Junk - 2 days / 1 night

Day 1: You are picked up from your hotel at 8.00am and arrive at Halong Bay wharf at 11.45am where you will be met by our crew who escort you on board the Paloma Junk and serve welcome drinks.

You then check into your cabin and we begin cruising into Halong Bay. A fresh seafood lunch is served in the restaurant or on the outdoor dining area while you enjoy the stunning views of the Bay. In the early afternoon we arrive at Vong Vieng floating fishing village and drop anchor. Our guide will give you some information and interesting facts about this fascinating village and its local community.

We disembark and travel on the sampans rowed by the local people. They will be your guides through their fishing village where you can meet the locals, visit the school and pearl farms. See first-hand what life is like living on the water. Back on board we head for the calm waters of the lagoons and beaches for swimming and relaxing on deck or pamper yourself with a massage and sauna in our luxurious spa. (Optional kayaking)

After breakfast we set sail for Bo Hon Island. Disembark and visit (Sung Sot) Surprise Cave. It is one of the largest grottoes in Halong Bay with thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

An early lunch is made available to enjoy while we head back to Halong wharf on another scenic route. We arrive back at the wharf at 12 noon for our drive back to your hotel in Hanoi arriving at 4.30pm.

After breakfast we transfer from The Paloma to a smaller boat which will take you to one of the more remote and secluded parts of the Lan Ha Bay waters and islands. Our guide will take you on a kayaking tour of the waters to discover the lagoons with the coral reefs and beaches or you can just sunbathe and swim on one of the secluded beaches. A special BBQ lunch is served on the private beach (Weather permitting). (Optional kayaking)

Around 4pm you return to the Paloma to enjoy the sunset with evening cocktails and fresh fruit. Dinner is served in the early evening in the restaurant or outdoor dining area.

Day 3: For the early risers join us for a Tai Chi session on the sun deck or take the opportunity to have an early morning swim and enjoy the beauty of a Halong Bay sunrise. Halong Bay & Cat Ba Island Standard - 3 days / 2 nights


Day 1: You are picked up from your hotel at 8:00am and arrive at Halong Bay at 11.30am where lunch will be served at the seaview restaurant.

At 1pm we board our sailing boat and spend the afternoon exploring Halong Bay and visiting one of the spectacular caves. We then go to a quiet area of the bay where you can go swimming or just relax and take in the scenery.

Dinner is served at 6.30pm and the evening spent overnight on the bay.

Day 2: After breakfast the following day a boat will take you to Gia Luan harbour.
From there you will have a guided trek through the National Park for about 2 hours.
At the end of the trek your guide will organise a local bus to take you to your hotel in Cat Ba town. You are then served lunch in the hotel. After lunch your guide will organise a boat to take you to Monkey Island where you can swim and relax on the beach. On this day you have the optional extra to do kayaking.

In the late afternoon we return to your Cat Ba Island hotel where dinner is served at 6.30pm. You then have the evening to walk along the promenade and have a look around the Cat Ba town.

Day 3: In the morning after breakfast at 8am, we board our boat back to Halong city via another scenic route of the bay.

Lunch is served in Halong city after which we board our bus back to Hanoi arriving at 5pm.
